Changing the County Motto – January 3, 2023
In one of his first official acts, Joe Moss changes the county motto from “Where You Belong” to “Where Freedom Rings,” thus ensuring that taxpayer dollars go to important things like changing signs, doors, and stationery. Take that, libs!
Dissolving the DEI Department – January 3, 2023
Having established that some people actually do not belong in Ottawa County, the next step was to dissolve the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion department. Word is still out on whether this achieved Joe's goal of a mass exodus of gay people from the county.
